This category contains only our Azalea bonsai trees. We have a range of different colors and petal patterns of Azaleas available to choose from such as Japanese Satsuki and Kurume Hybrids. They are the top traditional favorite choice for flowering bonsai lovers.
Azaleas have been cultivated into many hybrid variants in Japan for at least five centuries; in almost every color except yellow, bright orange, and true blue. More than 500 cultivars of Satsuki (whose name translates to “fifth month,” typically blooms 60 days after the spring equinox) Azaleas have been described, with many of them having unfamiliar-sounding Japanese names to the English speaking audience. But with the love for Azaleas still strong in recent times, some plant breeders have developed new variants such as Kurume Hybrids to create even more beautiful petal patterns and colors.
