Description
This is a 4 piece stainless steel soil sieve set that's made in Japan. This durable high quality product's large size will be able to handle big quantities of soil to be used in bonsai to screen it for a specific size and grit. The set is light weight and will never rust during use. 
 
When sifting soil, please do so in an well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors since it may be dusty. Simply select the soil mesh screen size that you want the soil's size and grit to be and place it inside the hoop frame. Once the soil mesh screen is fitted at the bottom, pour in a few scoops of soil into the hoop frame and shake it in a side-to-side motion for the sifting action to take place. We recommend that you have either at least one large basin (more is better) or a large table cover to have a spot to collect the sized soil as it falls through the sieve.
 
 
The 4 piece set will contain the following:
  • 1 Soil Sieve Hoop Frame: Diameter 11.75 inches and Height 2.75 inches
  • 3 Sizes of Soil Mesh Screens to Go Inside the Hoop Frame:
    • Small = 2.0 square inches
    • Medium = 4.5 square inches
    • Large = 7.5 square inches
