The Willow Leaf Ficus (also known as Willow Leaf Fig) is an easy care and low maintenance variant of ficus is known for its resemblance to a weeping willow tree. 'Nerifolia' is native to Asia: including Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar and Nepal. With its light green narrow oval spear-shaped pointed leaves and fast growth branches, it has a striking look. This is a forgiving tree to raise in any lighting: from bright sunlight to shaded conditions. In time, it will quickly become an impressive looking bonsai tree. However, it needs to be sheltered from frost and chilly weather due to cold sensitivity but will thrive in warm to hot climate environments. This ficus makes for an excellent choice to have indoor bonsai. It is currently in a 1 gallon pot size.

Note that all pre-bonsai trees will come in a plastic nursery growing pot.

If the bonsai tree is still alive but weakened due to shock (leaves are yellow-brownish or leaves have fallen off) then we are happy to assist in proving post-delivery plant shock care instructions via email to revive the plant.
